Fly Fishing Wilderness

Stonefly Fishing Lodge offers world-class guided fly fishing experiences in one of New Zealand’s sunniest regions. With crystal-clear waters and numerous rivers to explore, anglers can expect unforgettable moments. Brown trout in the area typically weigh 4-5lbs, with 8lb catches common and the possibility of a 10lb trophy just a cast away. The lodge’s prime location along the Motueka River provides access to diverse fishing spots, including remote backcountry streams and exclusive helicopter-accessed locations. Overnight fishing adventures can also be arranged utilising DOC huts in the back country.
