YOUR ARRIVAL

Tucked away on the Purerua Peninsula in the Bay of Islands, The Landing is easily reached by air, land, or sea. Arrive by private helicopter from Auckland in just 55 minutes, or fly into Kerikeri Airport from Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch. Once there, be greeted for a chauffeured 35-minute drive to the property. The Landing is a scenic 4-hour drive from Auckland through lush coastal landscapes. Alternatively, guests can arrive by private boat cruise across the Bay to The Landing’s private jetty, setting the tone for an exclusive retreat.

The Landing

Tucked away on the Purerua Peninsula, The Landing spans 1,000 acres of native bush, farmland, wetlands, vineyards, and walking trails. Rich in history, it was once home to Te Puna, a Māori village, and later became a key site for trade and settlement. The Bay of Islands, where The Landing resides, is historically significant, with the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840. The property honours its cultural heritage, preserving sacred sites and sharing powerful stories of the past.
